A Fresh Perspective on Transitional Interiors

With a background in event planning, Jen developed a strong understanding of color, proportion, and how thoughtfully curated environments can shape experience. In 2016, after starting her family, she formally launched Decker Designs and began building what has become a highly regarded, referral-based studio serving Chicago’s North Shore.

Jen believes beautiful homes should evoke emotion. She blends color, textiles, and considered layouts to create spaces that feel fresh, bright, and welcoming — never stark or overly modern. Her aesthetic leans transitional: clean and crisp, yet layered with warmth and personality.

Clients value not only her eye for design, but her collaborative spirit. Many relationships extend well beyond a single project. Jen approaches every home with care, clarity, and the confidence to gently guide clients toward choices that feel exciting and deeply personal.
